A message from the director:
Hello, my name is Joseph D'Antona and I am an Acupuncturist, Herbalist, Massage therapist and Managing Director of The Balance Health and Wellness Center in New York. Currently, we have two facilities which are located in Kings Park and Lindenhurst. At both of our facilities we also offer Colon Hydrotherapy, Allergy Elimination (NAET), Hypnosis, Ear Candling, Skin Care and Counseling. I feel that by having two locations we are able to be more attainable and help as many people as possible (we also do house calls when requested). In today's world it seems as most people do not get the personalized medical care that they want and need. The treatments of most medical doctors lead patients to be quickly diagnosed and prescribed a medication with very little interaction between the doctor and the patient. However, within our practice, we take the time to communicate with our patients and make sure to hear all their concerns and discuss their progress. I feel that human interaction is lacking in today's western medical practices, and it is this interaction, I truly believe, to be the first step into a successful treatment. I employ a threefold process in our practice: The first is to remove pain and relieve symptoms for our patients. Second, to connect the underlying imbalances in a person, whether they are physical, chemical, nutritional, emotional, spiritual or ethical. Third, to assist and educate a person in living their newfound life, maintaining their optimum level of health and guiding them into a spirit of cooperation, wellness and balance. To achieve each of these points, I continually study, learn and teach. I do this by practicing and constantly researching the latest advances in medicine for the direction of the health care that my patients need and deserve.
