WHAT IS NAET?

HOW IS NAET DIFFERENT?

Currently, conventional medicine has several methods for diagnosing allergies. The intradermal test, patch test, scratch test, and various blood tests such as the RAST test and the ELIZA test are used. The standard treatment is drug therapy using either antihistamines or steroids to control allergic symptoms. Unfortunately, this does not correct the underlying problem and often the allergy sufferer experiences serious long-term side effects. WHAT DOES A NAET TREATMENT INVOLVE? NAET

Therapy is painless, non-invasive and easy. NAET therapy utilizes Muscle Response Testing (MRT) which indicates the kinetic imbalance in the body caused by allergens. The NAET therapist stimulates pressure points along the spine from the neck to the sacrum while the patient is holding an allergen. The patient must completely avoid the allergen for 25 hours following the treatment. Allergens are treated one at a time in a specific sequence. In some cases, Muscle Response Testing, it takes only one or two sessions to eliminate an allergy. Individuals with multiple allergies require additional treatments.

NAET and Autism

Of all the conditions that respond to NAET treatments, the most significant results to date have been in the reversal of Autism spectrum disorders. Autism strikes 1 out of every 150 children in America. Autism is very allergy related. Gluten and casein are certainly the biggest offenders but spectrum children have so many allergies to basic vitamins, minerals, food additives, food colors and much more. In October 2005, Dr. Devi Nambudripad concluded a one year pilot study in Buena Park California. This double blinded study was composed of 60 Autistic children from ages 3 to 10. All children were non verbal, non communicative and had no eye contact. There were 30 children in the control group who received no NAET treatments. There were 30 children in the experimental group who received 50 NAET treatments of which four children dropped out of the study due to various reasons. This left 26 test subjects who received all 50 treatments. The children were treated for allergies to basic vitamins and minerals, foods, chemicals, environmental factors, vaccinations, antibiotics and any medications they were exposed to including prenatally. By the conclusion of the study, 88% of the treated children were removed from the spectrum. The special education labels were removed! These once non-verbal, non-communicative children are now thriving in typical classes and settings.

The conclusion of this study is undeniable! Autism is treatable and reversible. Autistic children are living in a cloud of allergies. Autism affects the way the brain uses information and prevents proper understanding of what the child sees, hears, smells, or touches differently than others.
