Cupping

Cupping therapy is an ancient alternative medicine practice that involves creating suction on the skin using cups made of glass, bamboo, or silicone. The cups are placed on the skin and either left in place or moved around to create a massage-like effect.

Cupping helps with pain relief, relaxation, and the treatment of various conditions, including respiratory problems, migraines, and muscle tension.

There are several different types of cupping, including dry cupping, wet cupping, and fire cupping. Dry cupping involves using suction alone, while wet cupping involves making small incisions on the skin to draw out small amounts of blood. Fire cupping involves briefly heating the cups before applying them to the skin.
